Elyse Osborne was accepted for presentation at National Conference
on Undergraduate Research, NCUR 22, in Salisbury, Maryland.

Courtney Macklin, Courtney McManus
and Rachel Giterman
- co-curated and organized an exhibition titled Identity in
conjunction with the spring Art Commission of Greater Toledo, Meet and Greet.

Brent Dedas' Foundations Dawing students exhibited over 4000 drawings at Space 237
during the spring Meet and Greet.

Exhibitions and Presentations

Helen Grubb and Carly Dahl - Exhibited recent artworks at the UT, Catherine S. Eberly Center for Women.

Molly Strader won 1st place, Elyse Osborne won 2nd place and Julie Webster received a Purchase Award at the 2008 Art on the Mall. 

Graduate Studies

Courtney McManus, BFA 2008, was accepted at Memphis College of Art and offered a $15,000 scholarship.

Alicia Disantis, BA 2008, was accepted into the Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management graduate program at Columbia College, Chicago.

Michael Douglas, BFA 2004, was recently accepted into the MFA program in Ceramics at the University of North Dakota. Michael received a Teaching Assistantship at UND and will be teaching Ceramics I.

Amy Rublaitus, BFA 2007, was accepted at New York Academy of Fine Art  to pursue her MFA in drawing.  She was awarded a Fellowship.

Erin Valentine - BA 2007, was accepted into the Masters in Art History and Museum Studies at Case Western Reserve University.

Andrea Blake - BFA 2007, was accepted into the Graduate Entry Master in Nursing Initiative (GEMINI) at UT's Health Science Campus.

Jennifer Susman - BFA, 2007, was accepted into the Master of Fine Arts Photography Program at the San Francisco Art Institute.

Gainful Employment and Internships

Travis Sanderson, BA 2007 - will be working as an apprentice for Whitefish Pottery, Whitefish, Montana.

Eric Thayer, BFA 2008 - Technical Assistant to the Ceramics Department at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

Victor Berrios - accepted a photo internship with the Toledo Museum of Art.

Erin Valentine, BA 2007, - is participating in an internship with the Denver Art Museum as part of her graduate studies at Case Western Reserve University.

Jym Shipman - Assistant Curator Learning Resource Center, Toledo Museum of Art.

Amber McCoy - accepted position as a Marketing Design Specialist at Online Brokerage Services, Inc.

Scott Goeller - accepted a position as a website designer for America TAB

Jamie Meyers - accepted a position as a Graphic Designer with ACME Printing Co. in Sandusky,Ohio

Dan Miller - accepted a position as staff photographer for the University of Toledo.

Brad Osbun, Jym Shipman, Tyler Stanley, and Heidi Hecht held internships with the Toledo Museum of Art, Visual Resource Center.

Brad Osbun - accepted a position with professional photographer, Mark Oberst, as a Photographic Assistant.
