Justin Pfeifer, M.A. Student
Justin Pfeifer received his B.A. in History at the University of Toledo, and is currently in his second year M.A. program.
During his Undergraduate career Justin was Vice President of the History Club at UT for two years (2005-2007), and was a member of the History Department Quiz Bowl team during those years as well. Inducted into Phi Alpha Theta in April 2006, he was the recipient of the Andrew J. Townsend Award for Outstanding Male History Major in 2007. During the 2007-2008 academic year, Justin served as Historian for the Alpha Kappa Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta. Justin is part of a group of students who researched campus portraiture in Spring Semester 2006. The group presented a proposal that the UT Diversity commission unanimously accepted to diversify that public art. The first project of the Diversity Portraiture Initiative resulted in the Rocket Hall Mural.
His focus for the M.A. program and beyond is in modern German history. He plans to work with Dr. Larry Wilcox in furthering his knowledge and understanding in that area.
Justin is a native of Toledo, Ohio, and resides with his grandparents, along with his brother and sister.
