Neal Campbell is the Tuba/Euphonium instructor at Wayne State University and the University of Toledo. Mr. Campbell has served as Tuba/Euphonium instructor for the University of Michigan All State Program at the Interlochen Arts Camp and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. He has performed with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Toledo Symphony Orchestra, Michigan Opera Theater, Fisher Theatre Orchestra, Detroit Chamber Winds, River City Brass Band, and the Motor City Brass Quintet. Neal has been a guest soloist at the U.S. Army Band Tuba and Euphonium Conference in Washington, D.C. and presents recitals and master classes at various universities and music educator conferences throughout the United States. He was recently invited to be a guest artist at the International Tuba Euphonium Conference this June (2008) in Cincinnati. Neal is also a Commercial Pilot/Certified Flight Instructor who enjoys instructing in his spare time.
Mr. Campbell attended Millikin University, Indiana University and the University of Michigan. His teachers include Russell Tiede, Harvey Phillips, Fritz Kaenzig, Gene Pokorny, David Randolph, Wesley Jacobs and Tucker Jolly.
