Alexander Clarkson

Alexander Clarkson

Part-Time Instructor
Film

Alexander Clarkson earned degrees in Literature and Philosophy from the University of Toledo. He has taught both English and Philosophy classes in Toledo, but retains his first love of critical film studies. Following both academic and practical work in film and video with members of the Film/Video department, he began teaching for the department in 2000. Mr. Clarkson specializes in genre studies, especially those concerned with American film.

Mr. Clarkson also teaches English courses at Southview High School in Sylvania. In whatever spare time remains after teaching, he enjoys spending his time with his gorgeous daughter, Kira.
