Associate's Degree Programs

The College of Business Administration offers several associate's and certificate options for students seeking a relevant and practical knowledge base while continuing to work full-time. The College's associate's degrees and certificates are flexible and can be completed online.

Bachelor's Degree Programs

Bachelor of Business Administration

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) undergraduate curriculum includes a broad liberal arts background, a general core of business courses, and a specific area of specialization. During freshman and sophomore years, students take general education classes, as well as several basic business courses. During the sophomore year, students apply to the upper division of the program and they begin their business core and major courses during their junior year, and choose an area of specialization.

Our programs of study represent a veritable smorgasbord of offerings. You can choose to pursue one major, a major and a minor, or two majors - we offer the fiexibility for you to customize your education. The College of Business currently offers the BBA in twelve fields. Click on each respective major to view some information and a sample course of study:

Most of the above programs also are offered as minors for students in all colleges at UT. This means you'll be taking courses in a rich, interdisciplinary environment - a combination of business students, future engineers, and budding musicians and artists. Imagine what you can learn during class discussions when everyone brings a unique persepctive.

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT)
The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program is a unique program offered jointly by the College of Engineering and the College of Business Administration. The program features a hands-on education leading to careers in the management of the technology infrastructure of organizations of all types and sizes. The curriculum covers the operational support and administration of diverse computing systems and the integration of existing technologies, components and products.

Bachelor of Applied Organizational Technology (BAOT)
The BAOT degree in the equivalent of two additional years of full-time study (2 + 2 program). It is highly recommended for students who have received a more technically focused associates degree. The BAOT is ideal for those employed in the globally technical economy who are seeking organizational careers.

Graduate Programs of Study
The College of Business Administration offers graduate programs developed with the input of students, industry leaders and business professionals. The programs are challenging and relevant, daring students to think beyond conventional methods to solve real-world problems.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
A comprehensive program with specializations in administration, finance, human resource management, information systems, international business, marketing (three tracks: marketing management; CRM and marketing intelligence; and professional sales), operations management, and supply chain management. Students can complete the MBA program full-time or part-time.

Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)
An innovative, fast-paced, practical, results-oriented learning experience designed to equip leaders to compete in the marketplace of the 21st century. The program is completed in just 15 months with a two-weekends-on, one-weekend-off cohort format. It integrates a high-technology entrepreneurship focus in a global context.

Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA)
The MSA program is designed to prepare students for professional careers in accounting by fulfilling the requirements to sit for the uniform CPA exam in the state of Ohio.

Doctor of Philosophy in Manufacturing and Technology Management (Ph.D.)
A degree that prepares students to meet standards of excellence in and contribute to the manufacturing management field through research, teaching and publications. This is the premiere program educating tomorrow's faculty today.

Post-Doctoral Programs of Study

AACSB Post-Doctoral Bridge Program
The Post-Doctoral Bridge Program is designed to develop academically qualified faculty to teach in an AACSB accredited institution. By completing a Post-Doctoral Bridge to Business Program a non-business scholar becomes significantly more competitive when applying for faculty positions at AACSB-accredited business schools.
