FMLA

Vacation
Full-time unclassified staff members, including faculty with a 12-month appointment,
are entitled to 24 days of vacation per year accumulated at a rate of 7.4
hours per biweekly pay period. Accrued vacation may be used as it is earned.
Sick Leave
Sick leave accumulates at the rate of 15 days per year for employees on
a 12-month appointment or 11.2 days for employees on 9-month appointments,
accumulated at the rate of 4.60 hours per biweekly pay period. It may be used
for personal injury or illness, or at the time of the illness, injury, or death
of a member of an employee's immediate family. Employees who retire from or
expire while in active service with 10 or more years of Ohio-earned service
will be paid for one-fourth of accumulated and unused sick leave, not to exceed
30 days.
Classified Employees
Classified and classified exempt employees earn vacation and sick time per
compensated hour and according to the bargaining agreement as outlined below.

Sick Leave
Sick leave is earned at the rate of 058 per compensated hour or 4.64
