Job 999137 ~ Athletics Financial Director:
This position serves in a leadership role and manages the day to day financial, business, and travel operations of the Department of Athletics. Develops and monitors the department’s 19 million operating budget and ensures departmental financial compliance with University policies as well as NCAA and MAC rules and regulations. Develops and implements sound business practices for the proper stewardship of resources and to optimize process efficiencies & effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related business area is required; Master’s degree, preferably MBA is preferred.
- Minimum five years experience in fiscal management.
- Candidates should have extensive knowledge of and experience with revenue accounting and accounts receivable. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations desired.
