Students will be selected to serve as a strong link between the Judith Herb College of Education and its alumni, current and prospective students. Those who are interested in applying to be an Ambassador must be enrolled in the Judith Herb College of Education. The application must be submitted by Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008. After reviewing the applications, a brief interview will be completed the follow week. Students will be notified by Monday, September 15th, 2008 on whether or not they were selected as a Student Ambassador.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
· Assist with recruitment events, presentations, and student panels.
· Serve as luncheon host with perspective students and their families
· Assist with the College advisors
· Help distribute College materials
· Participate in high school visits
· Work with faculty and staff in orientation programs
· Serve as a reference for prospective students interested in shadowing a University of Toledo student
· Assist with other duties as assigned by the Dean’s office and Student Services Staff
