    Program Overview

    A wide range of research topics are available for study within the sub-disciplines of analytical‚ biological‚ inorganic‚ materials‚ organic‚ and physical chemistry.  Collaborative interactions with the departments of biology‚ medicinal and biological chemistry‚ physics‚ and chemical engineering‚ as well as with various industrial partners enhance the research opportunities and interactions for students.  The Department of Chemistry offers both masters and PhD programs.

    Curriculum Information

    The Department of Chemistry requires 30 credit hours for the MS degree and 90 credit hours are required for the PhD degree.  For more detailed curriculum information please see the department website listed above.

    Admissions Information

    The Department of Chemistry requires applicants to submit the Main Campus graduate application‚ a statement of purpose‚ three letters of recommendation‚ an official copy of all transcripts and the GRE.  International Students Click Here for additional admissions requirements.
