    Program Overview

    The Graduate Certificate in Communication Studies is a program of 15 graduate semester hours designed for people interested in the communication professions. Courses are offered each semester at times designed for part-time study. For students interested in full-time study, the certificate program can also be combined with additional courses and thesis work for a Master of Liberal Studies degree with a concentration in Communication Studies 

    Of Special Interest

    Communication professionals are in broadcasting, public relations, journalism, interpersonal and organizational communication.

    Principles and Practices of Visual Communication

    Communication, Propaganda and Persuasion

    Correcting Conflict Communication in Organizations

    Communication, Technology, and Society

    Communication, Ethics, and the Workplace

    Business, Communication and Technology

    We also offer special topics courses on current issues including media research, communication law, media management, and public relations.

    Admission Information
