Program Overview The Master’s and Education Specialist degrees in Curriculum and Instruction offer rigorous, but flexible programs, allowing the student to focus on particular areas of interest, such as English/language arts, reading, science, mathematics, social studies, or other areas.
Both an Ed.D. and Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction are offered.
Of Special Interest Students who hold a bachelor’s degree in a field other than education should consider LAMP (Licensure & Alternative Master’s Program), which is offered via a special Master’s Program in Secondary Education.
Curriculum Information
The Master’s Degree in Secondary Education is a 30-hour program.
The Education Specialist Degree requires 32 hours of course work beyond the Master’s Degree.
