CASEY JONES PAPERS, 1970-1994.
Democratic Politician, businessman. (b. 1915). Etheridge Knight, 1931-1991
Ohio State Representative from 1969 until 1995, Jones was especially active in minority affairs. His papers document his political career and consist of correspondence, legislative materials, press releases, speeches, newspaper clippings, awards, and subject files devoted to issues of ongoing political interest. MSS-107, 1 linear foot.

ETHERIDGE KNIGHT PAPERS, 1964-1992.
Poet (1931-1991).
Papers consist primarily of correspondence with family, fellow writers and publishers, audio-visual materials, photographs, typescripts and proofs of works, and writings by prisoners. Subjects include prison life, "toasts" (long narrative poems) and the African-American experience. The majority of the correspondence comes from Knight's second wife, Mary McAnally. Includes correspondence from Sonia Sanchez, Robert Bly, Dudley Randall, Gwendolyn Brooks, Nikki Giovanni, Donald Hall, Don Lee, Herbert W. Martin, Judith Minty, and Noel Stock. MSS-016, 4 linear feet.

HERBERT WOODWARD MARTIN PAPERS, 1940-1999.
Poet and professor, University of Dayton, Ohio (b.1933).
Majority of the collection consists of correspondence from fellow writers, associates, former students, publishers, and family. Other materials include poetry in rough draft, typescript, and published forms, fliers and clippings, photographs, posters, journals, and ephemeral material. MSS-015, 095, 40 linear feet.

ELLA P. STEWART PAPERS, 1922-1987.
Pharmacist, civic leader of Toledo, Ohio (1893-1987).
Scrapbooks and literary productions document Stewart's activities and honors. She was active in the Berea in Korea Foundation, the Pan-Pacific and South East Asia Women's Association, the Indiana Avenue Nursery, and the Delta Sigma Theta sorority. Subjects include child care, famous figures in African-American history, and women's social clubs. MSS-052, 2 linear feet.

ZEIGLER HABILITATION HOMES, 1960's-2005
Intermediate care facility for persons with developmental disabilities and mental illness, founded in 1979 by Charlotte Zeigler.  Contains photographs of the Zeigler family, the homes and their residents, Mrs. Zeigler's obituary, and sympathy cards..  MSS-208, .75 linear feet.
