This is an example of a few DVD's you may expect to find in Microform & Multimedia. We have over a million pieces of microfilm, microfiche & microcards. We have over 3,000 VHS tapes, over 500 DVD's, and more than 2,000 music CD's.
Use the microform on digital scanners. Check out and take home the VHS/DVD/CD's/and Audio Books for one week. We also have VHS and DVD players for you to use here with headphones.
Our media collection can be found in these catalogs. They located in the Microform & Multimedia department. You can also find these same catalogs linked to the Microform & Multimedia home page. We also have an Audio Book Catalog.
These are our Canon-400 Digital microform scanners. The microform loads automatically and once you scan the microform image, it can be saved to CD or ZIP disk. If you choose, you may save to your desktop and print hard copies at any of the computer labs for free.
Here is a picture of some of the VHS/DVD players we have available for your use with headphones. If you would like to view VHS or DVD as a group of 2 or more, we have a video-viewing room for your use.
People still need to use a typewriter once in a while, so we have electric typewriters available for use during library. Just ask any of our assistants for help to get you started!
Carlson Library has 164 semi-private, locked study carrels and 290 carrel lockers for faculty and Gradate students only. Grads must pay a $70 deposit for the key--which is refundable when the key is returned. Graduate students may keep their carrels as long as they are enrolled. Faculty members may keep their carrels as long as they are employed here and must renew on a yearly basis.
We offer a wide variety of supplies for you to use or borrow. For example, rubber bands, whiteout, scissors, stapler, calculator, 3-hole punch, tape telephone book, rulers, post-it's, pens, pencils, glue, paper cutter, dictionary and paperclips.
