Carlson Library Pamphlet Collection
The Pamphlet Collection consists of short informational items (anywhere from 2 to 100 pages) on a variety of topics. It is intended to cover current or timeless research topics to meet the need for one or two sources on which to base a short speech, presentation or paper. Pamphlets can also be used as sources of background information for the early stages of in-depth research, or for personal interest.
Location
The Pamphlet collection is located in a set of filing cabinets on the second floor of Carlson Library outside of Room 2000.
Arrangement
Pamphlets are arranged in folders according to their Subject. The subject folders are arranged alphabetically in the filing cabinets.
Finding
Pamphlets can be found in the UT Library Catalog using a keyword search for a topic and choosing the Material Type: Pamphlet. Remember to write down the Subject heading of your pamphlet to locate the folder; pamphlets do not have call numbers!
