Selected Publications
- Co-authored a book chapter with Brian Hickam titled “Planning an Information Commons: Our Experiences at the University of Toledo’s Carlson Library.” The chapter was submitted in September 2006 and has been accepted for publication. The book is titled Our New Public A Changing Clientele: Bewildering Issues or New Challenges for Managing Libraries. It is part of the Libraries Unlimited Library Management Collection Series and is scheduled for publication in 2007.
- Regional editor for the book Guide to U.S. Map Resources, 3rd edition; edited by Christopher J.J. Thiry, ed. Lanham, Md.: Scarecrow Press, 2006. The guide is a comprehensive directory of map collections and resources in America.
- Co-authored a journal article with Rajinder Garcha about academic librarians and membership in unions. The article is titled “U.S. Academic Librarians: Their Involvement in Union Activities,” Library Review v.50 n.3, 2001, pp. 122-127.
