Experience

Lucy Duhon is Serials Librarian and Coordinator of Electronic Resources for the University Libraries and also serves as liaison to and selector for the Department of Art.  She began as Assistant Serials Librarian at Carlson Library in 1992.  She is responsible for ordering and maintaining print and electronic journal collections for the libraries and oversees several staff in the Serials Department of Carlson Library.

Scholarly Activity

Presentations

  • Co-presented (with Jeanne Langendorfer of BGSU) a paper for a tactics session at NASIG's (North American Serials Interest Group) annual conference in Minneapolis, MN, May 21-22, 2005:   “Binding Journals in Tight Times: Mind the Budget.” This paper also appeared in the conference proceedings (a regular issue of Serials Librarian) as well as in a separately published monograph.
  • Co-presenter for program, "Bindery Procedures with Innovative", and accompanying poster session at the Third Annual Meeting of the Innovative Users Group in Oakland, CA (Apr. 23-25, 1995).
  • Co-presented poster session at Innovative Interfaces, Inc. National Users Group meeting in Columbus, OH (April 1994).
  • Handout and library tour for UT Women's and Gender Studies Dept. graduate level class (Sept. 10, 2001) (1.5 hours)
  • Carlson Library tour for 2 IPS high school groups (Aug. 10, 2005) (1 hour total)
