CINAHL, 1982-present [off-campus access]
CINAHL (the main database for nursing and allied health literature) indexes articles from the professional journal literature from 1982 to the present (though some journal titles are retrospectively indexed back to 1937). HealthSource: Nursing/Academic Edition [off-campus access]
HealthSource: Nursing indexes nearly 850 journals in the health fields and includes the full-text for over 500 of those titles. The interface also includes Lexi-Comp's LexiPALS drug information and Merriam-Webster's Medical Desk Dictionary. Unlike CINAHL, the database is not designed to suggest subject terms; consider searching or browsing the Subjects (button at the top of the page).
ProQuest Nursing and Allied Health Source [off-campus access]
ProQuest Nursing and Allied Health Source covers 270 titles in nursing and allied health; many of the articles are available as PDF files, others are available in HTML or ASCII format. In addition, the database also includes topical study paths, which include full-text articles recommended by a board of experienced nurse educators.
