AgeLine/AgeSource Worldwide

AgeLine is a database produced by the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP); it is available free on the Web. It includes detailed summaries of English-language materials about older adults and aging, including books, journal and magazine articles, research reports, and videos. It covers materials from 1978 to the present, with selected coverage from 1966-1977.

AgeSource Worldwide is also produced by the AARP, and includes records for international aging-related resources, such as libraries, databases, clearinghouses, directories, bibliographies, and web directories.

The AARP Web site contains other resources, such as:

  • how to research a term paper in gerontology
  • acronyms in aging-related legislation
  • links to statistical data on aging
  • AARP Research Center
