Biological Abstracts is the online version of the print resource of the same name. It covers the life sciences and pre-clinical medicine. There is about a 33% overlap in journal coverage between Biological Abstracts and MEDLINE. Searching Biological Abstracts is a good way to supplement a MEDLINE search, especially for those in preclinical and basic sciences research.
