Current Training Schedule

These training sessions are free to University of Toledo faculty, staff, and students. CME and CNE credit (1.5 hours) are available for these sessions. All training sessions will be held in the Computer Learning Resource Center Training Room, on the sixth floor of the Mulford Library Building.  To register, you must email your registration to Mulford Reference Assistance (MulfordReference@utoledo.edu) or fill out the online Training Session Registration Form  at least 24 hours in advance of the session.

If you need assistance using our library's databases or want to learn more, hands-on training and demonstrations of any Mulford Library resource can be scheduled for individuals, small groups (departments, journal clubs, student groups, etc.) or classes. Contact Mulford Reference Assistance at (419)-383-4218 or MulfordReference@utoledo.edu for information about scheduling individual or group training.

PubMed and CINAHL - - - EndNote - - -Verifying Citations - - - Internet - - - Keeping Your Head Above the Information Waters

Database & Online Journal Training Sessions
 PubMed and CINAHL

Learn to search PubMed (another version of MEDLINE; basic and clinical sciences literature) or CINAHL (nursing and allied health literature) and how to retrieve the full text of journal articles from the OhioLINK Electronic Journal Center and other online sources from within the database. These sessions are open to all UT students, faculty and staff. 1.5 contact hours of CME and CNE credit are available for the PubMed sessions. The CINAHL sessions are only available for CNE credit (1.5).  Faculty physicians, fellows, residents, and physician assistants are eligible for CME credit; registered nurses are eligible for CNE credit: if you have any questions, please contact Mulford Reference Assistance at 419-383-4218 or MulfordReference@utoledo.edu.  Additional training materials for the using the library's databases available on the Library's web page: http://www.utoledo.edu/library/mulford/education/index.html.

EndNote: Your Research Companion 

EndNote is a software program that allows you to manage references and automatically format bibliographies and reference lists.
