Course reserves can be searched online by Instructor Name or Course Number. More information is available on the Finding Course Reserves page.
Materials on reserve can only be checked out for a limited time period, which is set by the course instructor. Typical time periods are one hour, two hours, three days or a week.
Fines for overdue reserve materials are $1.00 per item per hour.
Other documents placed on reserve can be viewed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. This service will not work properly with the America Online web browser. If you are using AOL, please open up Internet Explorer, FireFox, or Netscape to use this service.
Troubleshooting:
In most cases both a print and an electronic copy of each reserve item is available. In some instances, however, especially with faculty notes and previous tests/problem sets, the only copy available will be the electronic copy. Some items cannot be offered via the electronic reserve collection. Most commonly, these items would fall into two categories: entire books or multiple chapters of books. We cannot offer this service for these items and abide by the copyright standards established by libraries and publishers.
Faculty members wishing to place materials on reserve for their courses, in either print, audiovisual, or electronic formats, should see the Main & Scott Park Campus or Health Science Campus faculty course reserves pages for more information.
Reserve materials are available at each library's Circulation or Service Desk, however physical items on reserve at one location will not be available at all locations.
