Recommending Materials for Purchase

Have a suggestion?

You can make a suggestion for materials to be purchased by the library using this form.  Faculty members, you may contact the Library Liaison for your area or contact Alice Crosetto, Acquisitions Librarian, at 419.530.2760. To request materials for the College of Law, please contact the Law Library directly.

Library Liaisons & Department Representatives

Library liaisons and Department representatives work together in order to identify and maintain resources that enhance our academic collections and support the curricular and research needs of the University Community. See the Liaison List for the name of your Library liaison and Department representative.

Donating Materials to the University Libraries

The University Libraries welcome donations of books, media and other resources. Donated items become the property of the University Libraries and may be added to the collection, used as replacements for damaged or missing items, or offered to other OhioLINK libraries. We will send a confirmation letter documenting your donation, but cannot appraise the value of donated items for tax purposes. Please consult the Internal Revenue Service online documentation Determining the Value of Donated Property (Publication 561).

If you are interested in donating materials, please contact the Library first. Donors assume the responsibility of transporting items to the Library. Substantial gifts can be reviewed on site - contact Alice Crosetto, Acquisitions Librarian, at 419.530.2760 or alice.crosetto@utoledo.edu. If you are interested in donating rare books, books of regional or local interest, or personal papers, contact Barbara Floyd, Director of the Canaday Center for Special Collections, at barbara.floyd@utoledo.edu or 419.530.2170.
