    How Much Money Should I Bring?

    You should bring enough money with you to cover your living expenses, tuition, and fees for the first four months, about $10,500.

    • Bring no more than $200 in cash and the rest in travelers checks in US dollars.

    • Wiring Money to your student account:  

      1.  Call your bank in your country and give them your

      • Name and Student ID Number

      •  Tell them these numbers

       They must be on separate lines!!

      * ABA = 044000024
      * Checking Account = 01472257668
      * Swift ID Hunt US 33 

      2.  Ask your bank call Hunting Bank in Columbus, OH at 1-614-480-8384 and then tell them the same information as above

      3.  Its possible it might take 2-4 weeks to get here (depends on country)

      • If you wish to bring a bank-issued check, make sure that the check is payable to you, and that the bank issuing the check is chartered with a bank in the United States. If you bring a check payable to The University of Toledo or issued by a bank not chartered with a US bank, you will experience a long delay in cashing it, possibly up to one month.

      • Bring along with you several $1 and $5 bills for tipping, and several 25-cent coins to make local phone calls and for baggage lockers if you need them.
