Optional Practical Training
|
A request for optional (post completion of study) practical training must be made at the Office of International Student Services prior to completion of degree requirements (no sooner than (90) days before expected completion date). If you have been granted optional (post completion of study) practical training and it is subsequently determined that you have not satisfactorily met your degree requirements, your practical training authorization will become invalid.

| FAQ's |
| Am I eligible for OPT? |

| It takes approximately 90 days. |
| May I travel outside of the USA while I am waiting to receive my OPT? |
| No, you should not travel outside the United States while your OPT application is pending. Your application will be voided. |

| You are eligible for a practical training experience not to exceed (12) months in the aggregate (this includes any optional practical training authorized prior to completion of study).
