    Improving Classroom Participation

Encouraging students to participate in the classroom is important in the United States of America.

From the first day, inform your class that you expect everyone to participate in class discussion.

How can you accomplish classroom disucssion?:

    • An idea may be to have students sign up on the first day of class for a certain topic to be discussed that semester. This group of students will lead discussion on a particular topic for that day.

    • Ask relevant questions that provokes classroom discussion.
