Will I be Deregistered From my Classes if I Do Not Pay my Fees?
December 28, 2007 is the last day UT will deregister students. UT will no longer be deregistering student from classes. It is essential that students be proactive in registering and attending those courses they can pay for and expect to complete. Students no longer will be able to rely on the deregistration process to clear their schedule. It will be the student’s responsibility to drop or withdraw from unwanted courses before there is a negative academic and financial impact. Students with unsettled bursar bills will not be able to register for future semesters.
Just Drop It!
Remember...If you decide not to attend a class you are registered for, you must drop it. This will avoid additional fees or a hold put on future registration. For 100% removal of all fees, the drop must be completed before the first day of the term. Use Student Self Service in the portal or go to the RSC to drop any classes, but whatever you do....Just drop it!
