    Program Description

    Academic Year Research Program (AYRP)
    Scope: university-wide
    Student Population: UT students

    The AYRP supports research involvement during the academic year by undergraduate students at all levels in faculty members’ research activities.   Students should register in a research or independent study course if they wish to receive academic credit.  (Fall, Spring, Summer)

    FYSRE First Year Summer Research Experience
    Scope: university-wide
    Student Population: UT first year students

    The First Year Summer Research Experience program supports research involvement by freshmen students (the summer of their freshman year) in a faculty's research activity.  This competitive program is open to all UT freshmen in all areas of research and/or creative activity present at UT. (Summer)

    Research Abroad
    Scope: university-wide
    Student Population: UT students studying at other institutions

    The Research Abroad program supports research involvement by UT students while studying abroad or at other institutions outside of the Toledo area. This competitive program is open to all UT students in all areas of research and/or creative activity present at UT.  (Fall, Spring, Summer)

    UT-City of Toledo Internship Program
    Scope: university-wide
    Student Population: UT students

    The City of Toledo internships provide opportunities to apply classroom knowledge to the inner workings of Toledo city government, specifically in: law, politics, finance, public relations, neighborhood development, transportation, and other public-affairs areas.  The participants will be working in the Toledo Mayor’s office or in another city office.  (Fall, Spring, Summer)

    Undergraduate Summer Research and Creative Activity Program (USRCAP)
    Scope: university-wide

    The Undergraduate Summer Research and Creative Activity Program supports research involvement by undergraduate students in a faculty's research activity.  This competitive program is open to all UT students in all areas of research and/or creative activity present at UT. (Summer)

    Work-Study Research Program (WSRP)
    Scope: university-wide
    Student Population: UT work-study students

    The WSRP program offers the possibility for Work-Study students to choose a research project for their work-study funds as an alternative to regular work tasks.  (Fall, Spring, Summer)
