- Policy Name: DRAFT 3364-65-11 Remote access security
Description: (New policy proposal) This is a new policy intended to mitigate risk associated with remote access to the university’s internal network. The policy requires the use of university provided virtual private network (VPN) capabilities as the only method of remote access to computing systems residing on the university’s internal network and provides procedures and requirements for VPN access.

- Policy Name: DRAFT 3364-65-12 Workstation policy
Description: (Major revision of existing policy) This policy:
- Combines and updates separate but related policies focused on individual campuses: 022-workstation policy (former Health Sciences Campus policy) and 3360-70-05 Supported hardware and software policy (former Main Campus policy).
- Defines workstations and establishes the associated requirements and procedures in order for those workstations to be permitted on the internal university network and identifies IT supported hardware/software and prohibited actions.
- Workstation requirements include: Initial configuration using IT supplied images, domain authentication, anti-virus software, IT local admin access, encryption for locally-stored sensitive data, reqistered MAC addresses (for HSC workstations), backup of critical data, and physical security requirements.
Scope: all University of Toledo campuses
